La Finca sits in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara, surrounded by mountains, valleys and the white villages of Canillas de Albaida, Cómpeta and Árchez.
Days can take you along mountain paths, through traditional villages and into the surrounding Natural Park - with views that provide a fairly good excuse for stopping every now and again.
And at the end of the day, La Finca is waiting.
A swim. A shower. Perhaps a drink on the terrace. Then dinner, conversation and the considerable satisfaction of knowing you've earned all of it.
THE SIERRA ALMIJARA

The mountains aren't simply something to admire from La Finca. They're there to be explored. The surrounding landscape offers walking through rugged mountain country, valleys and traditional Andalusian villages, with routes and terrain that reveal a very different side of southern Spain from the familiar coastline.
Spring brings colour to the hillsides, autumn brings softer temperatures, and throughout the year the landscape has a habit of making you want to see what lies around the next corner.

Part of the pleasure of a walking holiday is having somewhere rather lovely to return to. Fourteen individually styled rooms provide a comfortable end to the day, while the pool, terraces and gardens offer plenty of places to recover at your own pace.
