Next April, the sound of Argentine Tango returns to La Finca as Richard Manuel and Tamsyn host their week-long Tango Retreat in the Andalusian hills.
With exclusive use of La Finca for the week and just 14 rooms, the retreat is deliberately intimate - bringing together a small, sociable group of dancers for dedicated tuition, plenty of practice and time to enjoy everything beyond the dance floor too.
TANGO. AND TIME TO SWITCH OFF.
The week combines themed Argentine Tango classes with plenty of opportunity to practise, relax and simply enjoy being here. Richard and Tamsyn describe La Finca as somewhere that gives their students the peace and space to step away from everyday life and focus properly on their dancing.
Outside class time, there's the pool, terraced gardens and olive grove, along with all those sunny and shady corners that make it particularly easy to lose an hour or two.
And then, of course, there's food, conversation and the rather lovely experience of having the whole Finca to yourselves for the week.
WHY LA FINCA?
Richard and Tamsyn spent almost a year looking for the right home for their Tango Retreat before La Finca was recommended to them.
They were won over by the setting, the intimate scale and the atmosphere of the place - describing it as an environment where their students can both concentrate on learning and properly unwind.

2027 RETREAT - FULLY BOOKED
The 10–17 April 2027 Tango Retreat is now fully booked, but Richard and Tamsyn are already inviting dancers to register their interest for future retreats.
