There is something about Andalucía that makes you want to pick up a paintbrush.

Perhaps it's the light. Perhaps it's the white villages against the mountains, the olive trees, the gardens, the old stone and terracotta. Or perhaps it's simply having the time to stop and look properly.

This autumn brings a series of painting and art weeks to La Finca, beginning in October and continuing throughout November.

Each is independently hosted and will have its own programme and approach, but they share one particularly lovely thing: La Finca as their home for the week.

SPACE TO MAKE SOMETHING

La Finca has a dedicated 11m x 8m indoor studio, alongside an outdoor deck and plenty of inspiring places throughout the gardens, terraces and surrounding landscape.

And creative time doesn't have to stop when the brushes go down.

There are white villages to explore, mountain views around almost every corner, quiet places to sit with a sketchbook and plenty of opportunities to do absolutely nothing creative whatsoever.

Because it is still a holiday.
